Feng Yu hearing this frowned as he asked once more, “What would that method entail?”

Zyne remained silent as a strange expression appeared on his face almost as if he was discussing something with someone else, after a short moment a soothing voice soon resonated throughout the area, overcoming the silence of the balcony, “It is a special method, at the appropriate time I shall act...”

Feng Yu hearing this voice was stunned as he had no idea who it came from, but Zyne, on the other hand, had a complicated look on his face as he spoke, “Brat Yu, we have decided to use a special mechanism. Though unsafe, it is the only method that is currently available, wait for a few days, and the queen will elaborate on its details...”

Feng Yu hearing this now understood who the voice came from; he bowed and spoke, “I thank the fairy queen for her help...”

“...........................” The voice no longer replied as if it was never there from the beginning.

Unable to take the silence Zyne once more spoke, “Well then, boy I will be borrowing your amour to do a little tweaking as it is currently not suitable to display even a fraction of its defensive power. I will be making this relic of old to become more suitable for your needs. A swordsman's greatest weakness is his defense, so even if you have mastered a unique defensive sword art, if it is defeated by an overwhelming attack there will be no one to curse but yourself for having no secondary precaution.”

As he said this, he jumped from the palace roof and landed within Feng Yu’s balcony, not waiting for Feng Yu to comply he tapped Feng Yu’s forehead causing the small blue orb that merged with his whole to leave his body falling into Zyne’s hand.

After taking the armor away, Zyne also noticed the two strange swords on Feng Yu’s back; his curiosity couldn’t help but be peaked as he waved his hand causing both swords to fly towards his hands.

Grip! As he grasped both swords, a feeling of rejection soon came from both of them, however, as Zyne was a master of weapons, they could only resist for a short moment before quieting down.

Shing! He then pulled both swords outside of their sheaths one by one and started to scrutinize them.

A strange light shone in Zyne’s eyes as he inspected the swords, with his gaze now fixed on Black-lightning he spoke, “How strange they are... this black sword is made of unusual thunder material I have never heard or seen this in all my life. Yet, even more bizarre is this rusted junk that seems no different from trash. I sense a fiendish aura at its core, one that could never be from a life existing in vestiges of that world outside. Where did you come from?”

Zyne said as he looked towards Crimson-Ember with an in-depth look in his eyes as if sensing his gaze, a strange scene occurred; Crimson-Ember began to shake as it burst into bright purple flames as a terrifying aura soon erupted from its core pushing Zyne away from the sword.

As if sensing the aura, a powerful spiritual sense came from the depths of the Fairy Palace and scanned the sword. However, the flames quickly died down, and the sword then returned to its sheath placing itself once more on Feng Yu’s back.

“Cough! What the hell? Variation Destruction Flames with Divine, no... Godly Prestige? Impossible, there is no longer a god in that outside world. So, whose sword is this?” Zyne said after coughing out a bit of blood and wiping the corners of his lips.

After staring at the sword blankly for a while, Zyne didn’t bother to over ponder it as he got to his feet and spoke, “It doesn’t matter, it's not my concern... these are things he will have to deal with on his own.”

“Umm?” Zyne muttered as he cast his vision once more towards Feng Yu who was now dazed.

Currently, Feng Yu was more focused on Zyne’s previous words about his defense and had no idea of the scene which had occurred, “Now that I think about it, my sword arts are all focus around, Balance, Speed, and Eruption. While control can aid with defensive maneuvers, it has many flaws. It seems I will need to exchange a wide area offensive control style sword art as well as a comprehensive defensive sword art...”

Zyne noticing Feng Yu’s condition smiled as he complimented, “Oh, not bad, gaining insight into his flaw so abruptly. Oh well, no time to waste here...” As he said this, he glanced at Crimson-Ember on Feng Yu’s back for a short moment before his figure vanished like a ghost seeming to have not been on the balcony.

Not noticing Zyne’s disappearance, Feng Yu continued to ponder, “My current sword styles are now solely that of a merger between the various foundation styles, my own customized Dual Extremity Sword Style, comprising of only three moves, , , and . The first being focused on killing fast, the second focused on control through the use of illusive movements, and my confusing the enemy and slaughtering them unnoticed. Finally, the third which requires a lot of energy condensed from my thunderblaze energies into one slash that in theory should be capable of injuring a 4th Tier Aura Disciple and annihilating all below that realm...”

Upon saying this, his eyes glowed in a sharp, ambitious light as he spoke out loud, “While these retrofitted sword styles should be comparable to that of a fairly powerful Earth Tier Technique, it’s not enough for me to be considered a truly versatile swordsman. I can only hope that this Ancient Dragon Palace has some excellent sword moves, that way I can learn more relevant sword arts to advance these basic sword moves or even replace them entirely.”

The winds of night sweeping across his handsome face carrying his hair towards his back, as it continued further towards structure behind him, rustling the curtains of the room while gently flowing across the exhausted looking white-haired beauty who calmly rested on the bed.

Suddenly, the closed eyelids of his beauty moved as if she was about to wake up, but the soothing wind only caused her to remain in her deep state of sleep as did a few of the palace individuals under the supremacy of night winds…

  Chapter 123

Allies Rally, The Broken Hammer Prince?

The night went by quickly, as dawn once more descended onto the Fairyland. The news regarding the return of the fairy princess had spread out far and wide, as the fairy queen began to issue commands to all fairies. They quickly scattered about busily sending invitations to the various tribal clans and allied forces to prepare for a conference as well as a special event.

While these developments were underway, the members of the former Prisoners Allied Army were also diligently preparing themselves by sorting out their stolen pieces of equipment with the help from various dwarfins.

On the surface of the porch belonging to one of the palace's towers in which Feng Yu stayed, rays of light from the artificial sun shone across his statue-like figure that stood motionless at the balcony's edge as he stared at the scene before his eyes. The cool morning wind sweeping across his face as it gently swayed his hair back and forth.

Currently, a refreshing smile was on his face as his eyes gleamed with a clear light of expectation regarding the new day.

“A new dawn has come...” Feng Yu said as he turned around and headed towards the room behind him, making his way through the outer pillars that is connected to the crystal-like ceiling of the balcony. Soon, he arrived at the room's entrance and quietly entered.

Upon noticing that Jing Mingyun was still asleep, he couldn’t help but sigh as he spoke. “It seems that traveling through all those stressful conditions and battling against those creatures in her current state was too much to handle, even though I carried her for most of the way.”

He then shook his head and exited the room into the Fairy Palace’s corridors, looking around there was a spacious hallway with various room doors scattered far apart from each other, each of which were crystal-like doors that gleamed a sparkling aquatic light. The floors were paved with ice-like tiles that oddly enough seemed sturdy and non-slippery, as an assortment of projected images of different kinds of fairies were laid out across the wide corridor much like p
aintings hung atop walls.

“They must be figureheads from ancient times...” Feng Yu said as he walked up to one of the projected images and scrutinized it. As he examined the images, he couldn’t help but notice that it wasn't an actual projected image but a manipulation of water in a strange type of method that formed these life-like images of different fairy figureheads.

“Another strange array method, I wonder what master would think of this...” Feng Yu thought to himself, as he then moved from the image and made his way towards the stairs.

While he traveled towards the stairs, he would glance around at the different images curiously. However, there was soon something or rather, someone that caught his attention.

A bulky looking fellow with orange hair that fell behind his back with prominent sideburns and stubble of beard on his large broad face. His eyes were large with a large nose and wide lips that were curved downwards into a perpetual frown, his short but stout looking figure slowly making his way up the stairway with his stumpy legs.

He had thick arms wider than many water barrels that were tensed, and bulging muscles as if they were ready to explode with an endless amount of power.

Feng Yu seeing this little Dwarfin gawked as he leaned his head to the side and muttered, “Eh? Zyne shaved?”

The Dwarfin that was walking up the stairway seemed to have heard his words as he paused his steps and looked towards Feng Yu with a murderous look in his eyes. However, upon noticing Feng Yu was a human, the Dwarfin’s expression changed to that of intrigue. As if he realized something, he recalled his murderous intent and continued to walk forward as if nothing happened.

Feng Yu seeing the Dwarfin passed by him was curious, but he said nothing as he continued towards the stairway slowly making his way downwards.

Eventually, he arrived at the base of the Fairy Palace’s stairs and entered the main hall where he then started to make his way towards the outside. The castle was busy as fairies flew left and right along with high-class members of the different alliance races that were discussing various things. Various decorations were being placed at different sections of the palace, ranging from magical chandeliers to floating aquatic orbs that gave one a soothing feeling.

Feng Yu also noticed a few powerful looking groups coming in from the outside as a few fairies flew towards them and greeted, before directing him towards temporary quarters.

“It seems the allied forces have been arriving in large masses...” Feng Yu muttered as he continued onwards soon reaching outside of the palace. There, he saw large streams of allied forces making their way across the crystal path that is connected towards a portal. This portal led to the forest lands that surrounded the vast lake which encompassed the Fairy Palace.

While walking, he couldn't help but overhear some of the native’s conversation, moving his vision towards the side he saw two different allied natives speaking.

"Did you see him just now?" A voice said.

"Yeah, I saw him, sigh! I didn't expect he would also come to this meeting..." Another voice replied in a tone of pity.

"Are you guys speaking of that Dwarfin?" Another voice said as a large figure walked over to the two who were chatting. The one who started to the conversation was a slim looking hawk woman who was fixing an unknown gear for a man who had green scales that stood nearby.

As she heard his words, she nodded her head before replying, "Um. The one who lost his soul of forgery, the pitiful Broken Hammer Prince..."

Feng Yu hearing their words became curious as he pondered, "Hmm, now I’m curious as to who this Dwarfin is? To have been given such an interesting title..."

"Where do you think he's going?" The large figure said as he looked towards the entrance of the palace main hall.

The female shook her head and responded, "I'm not sure, he never visits here anyway. It’s a rare thing for him to even show himself to outsiders not belonging to his race..."

The blue-scaled male who was listening along had eyes that gleamed in an intelligent light, he looked at the duo's curious gaze and spoke in a mystifying tone, "I've heard a particular story that you might all be interested in..."

As the duo heard this, they looked towards the blue-scaled man with intrigued expressions; seeing that he got their attention the individual then continued to speak.

"They say that currently there is a Dwarfin who is staying at the top of palace's tower. He was within the batch of those who were rescued from the Dark Palace, rumor has it that this Dwarfin goes by the name of Zyne..."

"Zyne? I've heard of such a name before..." The large figure said while contemplating.

"Zyne... Zyne... Zyneas? Wait, you don't mean---?!" The female hawk woman asked in surprise, as her expression became one of shock.

"Indeed, it is so..." The blue-scaled man replied with a deep look in his eyes, as he cut off the other native's following words.

The large figure hearing this wiped the sweat from his forehead as he spoke, "Zyneas Yarkvin, then doesn't this mean that..."

"Yes, he went in for no other reason than that... to see the one who gave him the title in the first place..." As he said this, he couldn't help but look towards the main hall.

"Heh, let's hope it doesn't get too rowdy today," said the blue-scaled man as he also looked towards the main hall. Immediately after his words, the scene became tense while they looked at the main hall in silence as if they were expecting a great show to begin.

Feng Yu having listened in long enough thought to himself, "Zyne is on my floor, which can only mean that the Dwarfin who I saw just now was this so-called, Broken Hammer Prince..."

Having thought to himself, Feng Yu smiled before saying, “Interesting, I will have to ask Zyne about this fellow later on, as for now, it’s time to head out and train.” No longer paying too much attention to this scene Feng Yu continued onwards towards the portal at the end of the pathway, as he had decided to train within the forest grounds of the Fairyland.

A few of the individuals from various forces looked towards Feng Yu with surprise as they had heard of the rumors of a human rescuing the fairy princess, but as they were now pressed on time, they didn’t stop to say anything merely greeting as they passed by his figure.

Feng Yu greeted back as he continued forward soon after entering the portal where he vanished from the Fairy Palace and once more entered into the forests zone...

Within the palace walls, there was a location that was illuminated with dazzling and with flaming lights from the surroundings, imbuing it with a mysterious type of majesty.

A muscular middle-aged looking dwarfin sat on top of a wide mat with a few of two special looking weapons before him, one being a unique kind of armor with the other being an unusual type of dark-colored sword. The armor glowed with mysterious lights from complex runes engraved on its surface, as the black sword emitted dark electrical lights.

These weapons rested on top of an unusual looking block that was 1 meter wide and less than a meter tall, with strange looking compartments. There was a mysterious blue fire burning at its central position while the armor was placed on a glowing circle to the left of this flame as the sword was placed on a similar circle on the opposing side.

Zyne looked at the two weapons before him with a pensive look in his eyes as he pondered how to go about re-refining them to a stronger state. The minified bright hammer within his hand was dancing about as he twirled it around while contemplating.

It was a pity however, for today he would not be able to concentrate.

Bang! In a manner similar to his style of opening doors, his room door opened with a loud bang. Soon, the figure of the dwarfin Feng Yu saw could be seen standing within the room with his muscles bulged in further and a furious expression on his face.

Zyne feeling the familiar presence behind him frowned as he thought to himself, “Sigh! What must be shall be as the past will always exist, eventually, it will haunt one’s present with the memories that remain un
faded by time. I guess this meeting cannot be avoided no matter how hard I try to distract myself with forgery...”

He then gently placed the hammer down on the mat before turning around to face this dwarfin with a serious look on his face.

“I didn’t think you would go out of your way to find me on your own initiative. Brat, what is it? What do you have to say to this old man?” Zyne said with a strange tone.

The Dwarfin hearing his words looked at Zyne with unrestrained murderous intention as he spoke in a voice that seemed to travel from hell itself, "Hello, father..."

  Chapter 124

A Father’s Son? Mother and Daughter...

The air bore a certain kind of heaviness as the tension between father and son rose to its peak, a stifling stillness wandering the room of which would usually resound with the sound of forging.

Strangely though, the only noise that could be heard was that of the crackling from a strange blue flame which burned at the center of the strange looking block. Its light illuminating the forms of the two dwarfins, along with the reflective tiles and pieces of furniture inside of the room.

Zyne looked at the young dwarfin before him with a hint of regret in his eyes as his mind soon after fell into an ancient well of memories, as he momentarily sunk into an unconscious state.

The Dwarfin seeing Zyne’s state grew angrier as he shouted, “Do you dare to ignore me as I stand before you? Zyne...” He said hatefully, no longer using the word ‘father.’

As if he was jolted by the young dwarfin's words, Zyne quickly woke up from his daze, he then flipped his hammer around with one hand and smiled while responding, “I have aged... always falling into a state of dreams, only there can I remember the days of the old...”

“And why should I care about your silly dreams of old times?” The dwarfin said with a sneer on his face as he looked towards Zyne as he was looking at a clown.

Zyne hearing his words shook his head slightly as he gazed deeply into the eyes of the dwarfin before speaking, “It seems you truly do hate me now, have you forgotten what you called me moments ago? It is natural that I will dream of the past between you, me, and Ir........”
