“Yes, sir!” The army members said in unison as they saluted Leon, seeing this, Leon nodded his head and spoke once again, “Dismissed!”

After finishing his words, his body blurred and vanished from their sights appearing at the peak of the town walls. There, a handsome red-haired youth stood along with a tall and slender green-skinned man along with a small blue-haired fairy that had beautiful golden wings.

“The enemy is slippery, even with my senses it took me this long to vaguely acquire their positions. It seems that treasure they are using is capable of obstructing the forests ability to interact with people of my kind.” Treantous said with a frown on her cute little face.

Leon hearing his words nodded his head and replied, “Um. If it weren’t for this, we wouldn't have had so many losses in our previous bouts, the forces belonging to the alliance leaders have each suffered a significant deal of damage yet the enemies main army had managed to avoid all fronts, leaving behind only the grunt units as baits for us to face.”

Feng Yu remained silent as he heard their words, his eyes scanning the woods for any signs of change while lost in his thoughts, “Strange, now that I think about it their route seems too direct, could it be that the treasure they are using is able to point them to the fairyland directly?”

As he thought to himself, he looked towards Myria, Treantous, and Leon in preparation to ask about his concerns, but before he could say anything, there was a sudden change.

Rustle! The tall hedges that surrounded the town started to sway violently as the sound of marching could vaguely be heard in the distance, a sentry seeing this made a strange hand-sign by placing his lips on his fingers before blowing.

Wiiiiiiiiiiii~! Instantly, a loud whistling sound that only the natives could hear echoed within their minds waking them from whatever task they were doing.

“The enemies are in sight!” A loud voice said.

The natives being well organized instantly responded as they heard the whistling and words of the voice, quickly getting themselves into position entering a strange circular formation at the central location of the town.

After a flash of blue light, their figures vanished leaving behind the now strange and empty town. Feng Yu who was about to speak halted his words as he saw this scene, Myria, Treantous, and Leon then looked at him and nodded their heads.

  Swish! Swish! Swish!

Quickly, they vanished from their positions appearing at the same formation diagram which lit up and transferred them to where the army went. After they left, the formation diagram dispersed leaving behind no traces.

  Step-step-step-step!

A few moments later, the footsteps of the marching army grew louder and louder as the army of fiends from the Dark Palace swiftly made their way towards the town before them. Mounted on top of a strange beast, the commanding fiend looked towards the town with a frown on his face as he lifted his hand.

Soon, the army that was advancing stopped in its position as a stifling silence loomed over the area. The commanding fiend seeing the situation frowned even more as he spoke to his right hand, “Strange, I don’t see any guards mounted on this town's walls. You there what do you make of this situation?”

The fiend to his right looked at the scene with a cunning light in his eyes as he spoke, “Heh! Troop commanders’ concerns are right. I sense no life signs behind those walls the enemy’s probably trying to bait us to enter.”

“Hmph! A foolish attempt to hinder our march at best...” said the Troop Commander with a sneer, he then dropped his already lifted arm pointing his finger forward as while commanding, “Attack from a distance and destroy this town immediately!”

The second in command fiends promptly shouted, “All units attack!”

“Kill!!!!!” The fiends yelled as their nefarious energies rose to the peak, their eyes glowing in a sinister light as they lifted their arms pointing it towards the town. Not long after, rays upon rays of fiendish energies began to rush out from their palms beaming across the void in a manner that was unhindered by the gloomy rain that fell from the sky.

Within moments, those rays descended unto the town creating a scene much similar to an apocalypse.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

A shocking amount of explosion rang out as the entire town went up in flames forming a gigantic mushroom cloud. Soon, a dense amount of smog began to shroud the majority of the region rendering all sights hindered, the Troop Commander seeing the scene before him smiled with a mocking expression on his face as he thought to himself, “Hmph! Whatever trap that you fools have prepared is now useless, how can you stop us now that your town is no more?”

As he thought to himself, the smoke began to clear little by little slowly revealing the destructive scene within, a dense amount of smog still mostly shrouding the remnant structures that barely survived the explosions.

A very far distance away from this scene, on top of a broad precipice stood a large group native with a few individuals standing at the direct front of the army.

Myria and Leon seeing the scene within the distance both sneered as they commanded, “Begin!”

“Right away!” A few special looking members of the native army said in unison, dressed in black robes that had circuit-like lines that flickered with blue lights across its surface. They immediately sat down in a cross-legged posture, causing a strange diagram to form in the area around them.

This diagram was unique as it was made up of one large circle that encompassed multiple rings on which the special unit members sat on individually, a strange line moved from each of these rings connecting them to a single central core that had a special looking orb in its center.

As they sat down, they channeled their energies at the same time which flowed from their rings through the lines that was connected to the orb at the core circle.

Phewww! A bright light shone from the orb creating a strange resonant feeling within everyone that was nearby. Feng Yu seeing this looked on in interest as he was curious to see the particular scene that was about to be unfolded.

As if they knew his expectation, the special members promptly opened their eyes which now glowed in bright blue lights as they yelled in unison, “Titan – Activate!”

A loud ringing sound rang out followed by an invisible line that shot forwards at alarming speeds instantly connecting to the burning town in the distance, shrouded by dense amounts of smog.

It was at this time the Troop Commander had finished his previous thoughts with a look of mock still clearly visible on his face, but soon, he furrowed his brows as he heard his second commander exclaimed.

“What! What the hell is that?!” The second in command fiend yelled in surprise as his eyes opened wide while looking at the dense smog.

“Chet! Does an amateur like you have to get riled up every time you see a--” The Troop Commander was about to reprimand the second in command once again but abruptly stopped his words as his eyes went wide when he saw the scene inside of the smog.

Buzzz! A loud buzzing sound rang out in the area as two large blue lights lit up that brightly illuminated the scene within the dense amounts of smog. These lights were strange, seeming as if they were artificial of some kind, a few mechanical noises could be heard as a barely visible object rotated at a constant speed at their center.

If one zoomed out a reasonable distance, they would notice that these two lights were separated by a distance which was roughly the same length as their sizes, aligned in a horizon position on top of dark silhouette that was barely visible due to the dense among of smog. However, if one looked closely, they would realize that this object was much larger than they could have ever possibly imagined.

Soon, a mechanical voice that seemed to have traveled from the most frigid region of hell itself resounded throughout the region filling all who heard it with dread, “Titan - Online!”

  Chapter 131

  The Unrivaled Titan War Machine!

The dense amount of smoke that covered all th
ings in sight soon quickly cleared, as a massive form soon came into being. It was a construct that was over 1 kilometer tall and a few hundred meters wide, a dreadful weapon would fill dread to all who saw it regardless of race or species. Its body was made of an unknown type of dark-colored metal engraved with strange glowing runes arranged across its surface, along with special gears attached to key joints on its core chest area that rotated at a constant speed.

With two large glowing blue eyes and a cylindrical shape for a head with two glowing halos, a few cannon-like metallic barrels were placed on its back gleaming with a bright metallic light as a few glowing runes were on their surfaces.

The runes on its body were connected to the core on its chest which had a large glowing orb firmly socketed within a slot surrounding by a few gears. As these gears began to spin, the orb started to glow in blue lights while the runes on the body of the construct began to release a terrifying wave of energies across the region oppressing all things before it.

The fiend army seeing this massive construct was stunned as they knew full well what this thing before them was, they had viewed it in action many times in the ancient battlefields of old leaving its profound memory to all who survived its wrath.

The Troop Commander stuttered in shock as he trembled while looking at the construct, “I can’t believe it... its... the....”

The Titan War Machine, a dreadful construct of olden times as it was pinnacle weapon of pure destruction showcasing the best of dwarfin engineering and fairy magical technologies. It is a machine born to kill, made to slaughter all beings who oppose its masters, said to have taken many lives of both friends and foes in the age of the dragon wars, but that is a story to be told at another time...

“Dammit! We have been heard, to think they would repair one to this extent, though it is of a deficient grade compared to the ones of olden times, it still vastly more powerful than any one of us here!” The second in command shouted in anger and fear.

The Troop Commander who only now recovered his senses promptly acted, by raising his hand and yelling, “All fiends retreat! This machine can’t fight beyond the limits of its controls, fall back by 10 kilometers!”

It was an excellent command for he was indeed correct about the range of control for the Titan War Machine, but it was a pity for he had commanded his army too late. The gears at the core of the Titan War Machine started to rotate at an even faster rate causing the glowing blue orb at its center to change to that of a bright red color.

Its eyes and runes soon after glowing in the same menacing red light, as it lifted its gigantic arms and pulled the cannons on its back above its shoulders aiming them towards the army below it.

Buzzzzzzzz! Instantly, a loud charging sound resounded throughout the area as the cannons started to glow brightly accumulating a dense amount of magic energy from the surrounding area.

In a few short moments, the cannons were entirely covered by glowing lights as their mussels shone with a strange red colored energy.

The eyes of the Troop Commander shrunk after seeing this, as he lifted his head and yelled before turning into a ray of light that shot towards the distance, “They are firing the Titan Cannons! Retreat Immediately!”

“Retreat Immediately!... Retreat Immediately!... Retreat Immediately!” The echoes of his voice lingering in the open field as his figure along with the seconds in commands and more alert powerful fiends had long since vanished into the distance.

The fiends who were left behind hearing this, started to curse as they only now reacted, “Damn! Runaway no---”

One of the fiends tried to shout for the remaining members to retreat as he turned around to run away himself, but alas he was too late.

The energies of cannons were now fully collected as they overflowed with pure magically forces, the moment this happened the Titan War Machine once again spoke to the word as if declaring its end, “Titan cannons are fully charged! Novabeam Fire!”

Piiiiiiiiii! The moment its voice sounded, the cannon erupted two terrifying rays of light that beamed across the void instantly colliding with the retreating fiend army that had now reached a fair distance away.

Ka-Boooom! A loud noise sounded throughout the region as a new mushroom cloud formed much bigger than the last one which had eradicated the town where the Titan now stood.

“Arghh!!” A few pitiful wails could be heard as the fiends who were caught by the explosion screamed in pain, but that soon after faded as the flesh belonging to those fiends quickly melted from their bodies, leaving behind only their tenacious dark colored bones which also began to vaporize.

  Chaaaaaaaaaa!

A world of silence, leaving only the sound of the endless rain that fell upon this section of land. The terrifying army of over ten thousand fiends became nothing but ashes leaving behind only a trail of destruction in the paths of their beam’s collisions.

It seemed as if all were annihilated, but sadly, a few unlucky survivors could be seen crawling from the grounds as if they had burrowed to the depths of the earth to escape the beams destruction.

“Blarggg!” The sound of someone coughing up his guts sounded as the figure of the Troop Commander could be seen huddled up on the ground as one of his arms were missing, and his other arm was placed on his belly as he vomited pools of blood onto the field.

The second in command and more powerful fiends were also in similar states; though they managed to avoid the core of the blasts they couldn't avoid suffering severe damage. Not giving the survivors any time to recover the alliance army of natives finally made their move.

“Charge!” A voice sounded from an area nearby, soon after followed by the charging footsteps of the alliance army.

  Swish! Swish! Swish!

Like an army locust attacking their prey, they swarmed the surviving fiends and annihilated all unlucky enough to be in their paths, the Troop Commander who now finally managed to catch his breath seeing this frowned as he wiped the blood from his lips and tried to pick himself up from the ground.

“These damn natives! Cough! How could I fall prey to such a scheme?” said the Troop Commander as he looked at the bloody scene of fiend soldiers falling around him, he then moved his sight towards the second in command and yelled, “Second, prepare to move out, the Titan is incomplete and has most likely exhausted all of its energies in that previous attack! We must move before they relaunch it, ignore the charging army and head for the m—”

As the Troop Commander was speaking to the second in command, he couldn’t help but cut his words short as he noticed that the second was standing still will a lifeless look in his eyes. Soon, his body started to fall to pieces separated into two halves a red-haired youth wielding two strange swords appeared behind his form.

The Troop Commander knitted his brows as he looked at the red-haired figure before him, he questioned, “Boy! Who are... huh? It’s you!” He asked while examining the figure in front of him before he exclaimed in shock.

“Damn human! How dare you appear before me?!” The Troop Commander shouted as he rushed towards Feng Yu with blazing speeds, despite being critically injured, he was still vastly more powerful than Feng Yu having a cultivation of Half-Step True Soul realm.

  Swish! Swish!

Just as he was about to grab Feng Yu with his hand, two flashes of lights appeared from his sides flanking his positions as they both launched out two separate attacks that were so fast Feng Yu couldn’t clearly see it, quickly colliding with the sides of the Troops Commander.

Bangg! Quickly, his body was pushed backward colliding with the ground once more burying his figure with the earth. The forms of Leon and Myria soon after became clear as they stood before the now collapsed Troop Commander with an overbearing presence.

“Fiend! You will answer our questions immediately! How did you enter our lands?! How did you avoid our detections?!” Myria asked in an overbearing manner, as her little figure floated above the head of the Troop Commander.

  “...
......” Leon looked on in silence as he lifted his hands which rippled with immense might, his muscles bulging as if they were ready to unleash a terrifying power once more.

Feng Yu looked at the Troop Commander in silence as he pondered his previous words. “Could it be my conjecture was right?”

He then looked around at the army of fiends and noticed something strange, that although the enemies seemed to panic and were heavily injured, they barely offered any signs of resistance regarding the alliance’s army attack, almost... almost as if their deaths meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.

“Huhuhuhuhu......” A burst of sinister laughter sounded throughout the region, filling the souls of all who heard it with a feeling of foreboding.

The Troops Commander who was now on the ground laughed with a sinister light shining in his eyes as he looked at the trio before him and spoke, “You didn't think that we were the main troop now, did you?”

The faces of Myria, Leon, and Feng Yu sunk as they heard those words, but they soon quickly gathered their bearings. Leon stepped forwards and interrogated, “Fiend, what do you mean by this?!”

Feng Yu then quickly reacted after clearing his thoughts, he yelled towards the group, “We have to hurry back immediately, I don’t know how they did it, but they somehow managed to find Fairyland!”

“What?!” Both Myria and Leon exclaimed in shock.

Looking at the hard to conceal tension on the faces of his opponents and hearing the words of Feng Yu the Troops Commander smiled with content. He then closed his eyes as his body started to glow in a strange light and spoke with a voice that resounded throughout the region.

“Huhuhuhu! A sharp one you are, no wonder you caused our palace so much trouble human. Indeed, you are correct, as we are only a unit from the main army which is led by two of whom you each know very well. By now they should have already arrived at your little 'nest' preparing to turn it into a blood fest. My mission is already complete...”
